It’s no secret that I’m a unabashed fan of David Dalglish after reading his Shadowdance series in its original indie publication form. A couple of months ago David revealed the new Orbit covers for his first three books and boy did the Orbit team knock it out the park (see cover montage above).
Now thanks to the awesomeness of the Orbit folks and the author, we at Fantasy Book Critic get to exclusively present the cover for A Dance Of Shadows, the fourth title of the Shadowdance series. Here it is in all its glory and very much in line with the cover art theme present through its predecessors:

Lastly I would thank David, Ellen, Devi and the rest of the Orbit team for this exclusive reveal. A Dance Of Shadows will be published in Spring of 2014 and for those readers who wish to know more about it can read my review over here. Beware though it might ruin your read as it has some spoilers for the three books coming before and it is for the book in its indie form! There are bound to be changes with the Orbit editorial team involved and with David tweaking all the previously released titles as well.
I couldn't quite get into the first book in the Half-Orc series. Would you say it is worth giving A Dance of Shadows a try?

I would definitely give A Dance Of Cloaks a shot as I think I can understand why you might not have enjoyed book 1 of the Half-Orcs.
A Dance Of Cloaks is shades better than it and I would recommend reading A Dance Of Shadows later as it is book 4. Here's the series info http://fantasybookcritic.blogspot.com/2013/07/cover-reveal-shadowdance-series-by.html
