Odds and Ends: Angry Robot Recent Launch in the USA and Some of Its Titles We Liked

(Image from the Angry Robot site, but very similar to my bookstore experience)
*********************************************************
Recently when checking out the sff section at a big B&N chain bookstore, I came upon a display of books that seemed familiar and guess what, they were some of the US releases with which the new Angry Robot imprint has just debuted here after an earlier UK debut and an intermission due to its switching publishing houses.
Since me and Mihir have reviewed some of these books early in the year or even late in 2009 while the US releases are this fall, I thought of reminding people of some titles we liked. I will also add that I quite liked The Crown of the Blood by Gav Thorpe - more than I expected based on its blurb - and the review will be here in probably two weeks - and Mihir has already reviewed Soul Stealers, though we will post that review closer to its publication date.

Bodard, de, Aliette, Servant of the Underworld LS
Shevdon, Mike, Sixty-One Nails MW
Remic, Andy, Kell's Legend MW
Remic,Andy, Soul Stealers (Upcoming FBC Review MW )
Thorpe, Gavin, The Crown of the Blood (Upcoming FBC Review LS)
Tidhar, Lavie, The Bookman LS
Whates, Ian, City of Dreams and Nightmare LS
