AUTHOR INFORMATION: Rob J. Hayes was born and brought up in Basingstoke, UK. As a child he was fascinated with Lego, Star Wars and Transformers that fueled his imagination and he spent quite a bit of his growing up years playing around with such. He began writing at the age of fourteen however soon discovered the fallacies of his work. After four years at University studying Zoology and three years working for a string of high street banks as a desk jockey/keyboard monkey. Rob lived on a desert island in Fiji for three months. It was there he re-discovered his love of writing and, more specifically, of writing fantasy.

FBC: Authors & Their Favourite Books, Michael R. Fletcher chats about Wizard War by Hugh Cook (Interviewed by Mihir Wanchoo)

Hello everyone, this is the ATFB series, Authors & Their Favourite Books.  This series is inspired by hearing about authors talk about what books inspired them to become wordsmiths in their own right.

Today we have with us Michael R. Fletcher, indie grimdark darling, grilled cheese sandwich aficionado & whiskey reprobate (in his own words). We chat with Michael about why he loves this book. How he came across it and why more readers should perhaps give it a try. Michael talks about its different approach in the 80s and much more. Plus a sneak peek at what he plans to release next.

Therefore, it is my sincere hope that you enjoy this conversation and please feel free to let us know what you think either in the comments below or comments on the Youtube video.

SPFBO: Interview with Becky M. (interviewed by Mihir Wanchoo)

Today I'm so glad to do a different kind of interview. Today I'm interviewing one of the SPFBO Judges from SPFBO 2021/ SPFBO 7. Becky M is a booktuber situated in the UK and is a lover of Sci-fi, Fantasy, Horror, Apocalypse, Dystopia and a big Stephen King fan. This was the first year of her judging in this contest and to add to this, she had possibly one of the toughest groups to judge. I thought it would be great to glean her insights as a debutant and being only the second booktuber judge in the past seven editions.

So read ahead to get to know Becky and find out what she thinks...
