Terry Pratchett news and a GIVEAWAY for Kevin J. Anderson's the Saga of Seven Suns
Thanks to Pat’s Fantasy Hotlist, I recently came across the sad news that Terry Pratchett, author of the popular Discworld novels, has been diagnosed with a rare form of Alzheimer's. You can check out Terry’s official statement via Paul Kidby’s website HERE. As distressing as the news is, I can’t help but be impressed with Mr. Pratchett’s attitude and I wish him and his family the best as he fights this disease and continues doing what he loves…
In lighter news, Orbit Books is giving away a whole SET of Kevin J. Anderson’s The Saga of Seven Suns (Volumes One through Six) in promotion of the author’s recently released “Metal Swarm” (Book Six)!!! All you have to do is be a subscriber to Hachette Book Group’s newsletter—Sign up HERE if you’re not—and email orbit@hbgusa.com with the words “The Saga of Seven Suns” in the subject line. A winner will be randomly chosen from eligible entries on December 17th.

I saw this and was saddened. Still, I think it's great that he puts it out there in the open.
I agree...
