At the age of 90, writer, scientist, space expert and underwater diver Arthur C. Clarke passed away in Colombo, Sri Lanka from respiratory complications. A science fiction icon, Arthur C. Clarke is best known for “2001: A Space Odyssey” which was adapted into a Stanley Kubrick film, but he is also the author of over thirty novels, numerous short fiction and twenty-eight books of non-fiction. Arthur C. Clarke has also been knighted and had a spacecraft, an asteroid, a science fiction writing award and a dinosaur species named after him. While Arthur C. Clarke will be sorely missed, his legacy will continue to live on…

this man was giant of the mind. His contributions and very humanity is testament to potential of mankind.
It is strange, but I was thinking about the fact that we may lose this incredible author soon just a few days ago.
He left behind so much great work. He will be missed.
