FBC Video Interview Series: Authors & Their Favourite Books, Richard Nell speaks about DUNE (interviewed by Mihir Wanchoo)
Hello everyone, today we are starting a new series of author interviews. This is the ATFB series, Authors & Their Favourite Books. This series is inspired by hearing about authors talk about what books inspired them to become wordsmiths in their own right. I've always been intrigued by several authors who mentioned several different books in their email interviews.
This lead to the birth of this video interviews and I've to specially thank Richard Nell for his time and willingness to be my first guin interviewee. He chose Frank Herbert's DUNE and so we chatted about its inception, Frank Herbert's intentions, the impact of this seminal work on the genre & much, much more...
So it's my sincere hope that you enjoy this conversation and please feel free to let us know what you think either in the comments below or comments on the Youtube video.
