Order Small Miracles over HERE
If the term doesn't tell you anything, SPFBO stands for Self-Published Fantasy Blog-Off. It is an annual competition for self-published fantasy authors, created by Mark Lawrence. The goal of SPFBO is to give self-published authors an opportunity to have their work read and reviewed by influential book bloggers and to help readers discover new and exciting voices in fantasy.
The Fantasy Book Critic team has been involved in the initiative since its inception in 2015 and has uncovered some truly amazing reads through it.
After a heated competition, we're thrilled to announce that Olivia Atwater has been crowned the eighth SPFBO champion! Her humorous novel, Small Miracles, charmed the judges with its impressively clean and genuinely funny writing, strong pacing and characterization, and its entertainment factor.
We had an absolute blast reading and reviewing the books in the contest and can't wait for SPFBO 9 to begin soon! Who knows what fantastic reads we'll discover this year? Stay tuned, fellow book lovers :)
