The
full schedule for TBRCON2023 was announced yesterday and it’s going to be a
one amazing week. The entire convention will be streaming LIVE from Sunday Jan.
22 all the way through to the following Sunday Jan. 29 on the FanFiAddict
YouTube channel.
This is the third edition of FanFiAddict's Stabby Award-winning all-virtual convention. Some background information about this wonderful e-convention that’s run and organized by David Walters, Adrian M. Gibson, and the rest of the FanFiAddict crew. It was first organized just after the horror that was 2020.
Here’s why you need to get this in your eyeballs:
- All the amazing content is entirely FREE to watch, and will be available to re-watch after the conclusion of the livestreams.
- There are going to be 30 live panels focusing on various cool topics and sundry (What Makes A Good Villain, What Is The Future Of Horror, The Hidden Gems Of Fantasy, Wuxia & Asian Inspired Fantasy, SPFBO 8 Finalists, etc.)
- Then there are 25 author readings/fan Q&As (Adrian Tchaikovsky, Fonda Lee, Dyrk Ashton,
Kritika H. Rao, H.L. Tinsley and more fantastic authors),
- Not to mention three live podcasts recordings (SFF Addicts, Swords & Corsets and The Friends Talking Fantasy podcast) and three TTRPG sessions.
The convention will feature more than 150 participating authors, bloggers and booktubers. So hats off to Adrian M. Gibson and David Walters for being the brains, heart and sheer fucking will for assembling this massive fount of talent.
Viewers can follow SFF Addicts on Twitter or Instagram, or they can sign up for the TBRCON2023 attendee registration to get daily update emails during convention week.
As for myself, I count myself lucky to be a small part of this amazing event. On Jan 22nd (Sunday), I will be taking part in the BOOK BLOGGING & BOOKTUBE 101 hosted by the amazing Beth Tabler (owner of BEFORE WE GO Blog & Editor for GRIMDARK MAGAZINE). Joining Beth will be David “Lord TBR” Walters, Bookborn, Allen Walker “Library Of Allenxandria” & me.
Secondly on Jan 26th, I’m super excited to be the moderator for CROWDFUNDING YOUR PROJECT. This panel features Robin Sullivan, Dyrk Ashton, Virginia McClain, Intisar Khanani, & J.D.L. Rosell.
So mark your calendars and get to enjoy a plethora of amazing content that’s headed your way in less than 72 hours.
