What you see above is the artwork (see original post HERE) that will be used for the cover to “Decay Inevitable”, which is absolutely stunning! For those that may not recognize the style, the artist is the one and only Dave McKean, best known for his collaborations with Neil Gaiman (The Sandman). McKean has also done a bunch of other graphic novel work including Hellblazer and Grant Morrison’s “Arkham Asylum: A Serious House on Serious Earth”, provided covers for numerous books and CDs, and even directed the Neil Gaiman-written film, MirrorMask. I never get tired of McKean’s work and think he was the perfect choice for a Conrad Williams book, which by the way, I’m highly anticipating :)
