INTRODUCTION: For various reasons - mostly time/energy, but sometimes just timing, there are a lot of books that we read here at FBC but we do not get to fully review, so occasionally we do capsule reviews and even un-reviews that add value but are too brief to include in the Review Index.
Until now we included the permanent links to these posts in the Contributors Essays Index, but now that we have already 17 such mini-reviews with quite a few more to come, we decided to have a dedicated Index for them. Note that in our Essays we also have more capsule reviews but those are generally part of a thematic discussion (e.g. the novels of the Troy Trilogy by David and Stella Gemmell) so they will remain linked from the Essay Index.
The Index will have the posts in chronological order and we start with 17 capsules in 6 posts.
Current number is 35 capsules and 12 posts.

You actually read more than you can review. Impressive and mind-boggling.
I would love to even capsule review all that I read and sometimes I am quite frustrated I just do not have the energy to do it - I keep my log and many mini-reviews or at least short paragraphs about everything I read on Goodreads, while here I tend to review the best I read and the notable books that were highly awaited by me but I liked less than expected...
