FBC has just found out tonight via SFSignal and then John C. Wright's wife that the author of the mind-blowing Golden Age trilogy which was as impressive a debut as any I have ever read and just reminded me once more why sf is such a great reading experience (The Golden Age, The Phoenix Exultant and The Golden Transcendence) has been hospitalized, though he is expected home soon.
Read an Amazon excerpt from The Golden Age HERE to see why that series has as much sense of wonder as any sf I have ever read.
Mr. Wright is also author of several fantasy series, most notably the entertaining Chaos series (Orphans, Fugitives, Titans) as well as one of the very outspoken Christian sf authors and his personal testimony bears reading whatever anyone's personal convictions.
We wish him a speedy recovery.
